The basics of the School Fab Lab logo

The SFL logo uses four colors: Blue, black, green and red. Primarily the logo should be used on a white background for maximum impact and clarity. The following versions are available for use:

The same rules are applied to the usage of our sign of the logo.

Clear space & sizing

The minimum clear space is defined as x, measured by the width of the vertical stroke of the letter ‘H’. The minimum clear space of 2x should always be applied. Try to maximize clear space whenever possible.

The minimum size of our logo is 32px on screen, measured by the height of sign of the logo.

Background colors

Ideally, the logo is to be used on a white background for maximum impact and clarity. When this is not possible, be sure to choose background colors or photos that provide sufficient contrast with the logo. The following versions are available for use:

Do: contrast with the background & photos

Make sure the logo reads clearly and has sufficient contrast with a background color or photo.

Don’t: Add effects

Drop shadows, bevels, glows and strokes don’t mix with the SFL logo.

Don’t: Change the color or add the gradient

Our logo likes to stay SFL blue, black, green and red. Don’t fill it with a pattern or a photo or gradient.

Don’t: Modify the logo

The SFL logo should never be redrawn, distorted, rotated, or added to. Don’t edit the font type.
